5.1.2006 Darling Doris 8 yrs! Birthday wishes also to K-Litter (on Jan 14th) and Z-Litter (on Jan 24th) both 5 yrs!!

22.1.2006 Turku INT Dog Show (judge Paul Singleton, UK): Pele started this show year nicely by being BD2 with resCC & CACIB :) Rico was 3rd in open class with EXC.

Happy Birthday Granny Ceci 11 years on Jan 26th and our Familia Litter 3 years on Feb 1st!!!

February: The little rascals Tini, Iida, Manta & Daisy have all moved to their new homes. Super thanks to Kiti Koivu (kennel Visakoivun) for taking such good care of Mama Nana and her pack of wild monkeys!

Basenji of the year 2005 results make pleasing reading... 3 Kanjaras boys among the top4: The King of 2005 was who else but Zorro, the young brothers Rico and Pele took places 3 & 4. Lulu was 3rd, Tiitta 12th and Ceci 13th. Ceci also placed 2nd in Veterans. Not bad at all!!

18.3.2006 Tampere INT Dog Show (judge Steven Seymour, Australia): Otto 2nd in junior class with VG, Rico won the open class with EXC, Pele 3rd in open class with EXC. Mocca got EXC, Ada was 3rd in open class with VG, Kipa 4th in open class with VG and out of 13 bitches present Lulu went BB1 & BOS with CACIB. Team Kanjaras 2nd with HP.
The same day at the Latvian Winner 2006 Show in Riga under judge Igor Selimovic (Croatia) our little tiger Tiitta went BOS with CC & CACIB and gained the Latvian Winner 2006 -title :) BOB was our "old warhorse" Zorro with CC, CACIB and Latvian Winner 2006 plus Latvian Champion -titles :D To top it all of he went BIG-3!! What a fab day!
15.4.2006 Lappeenranta INT Dog Show (judge Saija Juutilainen) What a smash hit of a day: Rico BD3 with resCC, Zorro BD2 with resCACIB and our bundle of joy Pele BD1 with CC & CACIB, BOB plus BIG-4 not to mention the fact he finished his Fin CH -title today!! That-a-Boy!! Lulu placed BB2 with resCACIB, Ceci BB4, BOB-Veteran and made a cut among the top9 in the group! Tiitta played monkey tricks today getting VG. The day was crowned by Team Kanjaras being BIS-3 :) Thank u Easter Bunny and all friends involved!

23.4.2006 Lahti INT Dog Show (judge Manuel Loureiro Borges, Portugal): Rico 2nd in open class with EXC endig up BD4, Otto 1st in junior class with EXC. In champion class Zorro got EXC and Pele was 3rd with EXC. In bitches' open class Ada got EXC and sis Tiitta was 2nd with EXC. Lulu was 3rd in champion class with EXC and granny Ceci won the female veterans + ended up BOB-veteran! Breeders group was 4th with HP.

20.5.2006 While Rico got very good, Zorro placed BD4, Lulu BB3 (with resCACIB), Kipa got EXC (!!) and Team Kanjaras placed 2nd with HP at Helsinki INT Dog Show under judge Sylvie Desserne (France). Pele and Tiitta represented the Kanjaras colours in Valmiera, Latvia and a very nice job they did: Anita Whitmarsh (Sweden) placed Tiitta BB3 with resCACIB and Pele BD1, BOB with CACIB and CC (which makes him a LATVIAN CHAMPION!!! :) Later in the afternoon he went GROUP-4. Fantastic!

28.5.2006 Järvenpää (judge Zivilie Povilaitiene, Lithuania): Another Kanjaras champion made today; Rico BD1, BOB and his "final" CC! Yes!! Otto BD2 with resCC, Ada BB3 and Mocca & Tiitta got VG. Team Kanjaras was BOB Breeders group and made a cut among the top6 :D

4.6.2006 Tallinn, Estonia, Baltic Winner 2006 INT Show (judge Jamie Hubbard Australia): Zorro BD2 with resCACIB.

10.6.2006 Helsinki European Winner 2006 INT Show (judge Adrian Landarte Uruguay): Rico placed 3rd in his class with EXC, Pele got EXC and Zorro VG. Mocca and Tiitta got both EXC and were 2nd in their classes, Lulu was 3rd in her class with EXC and Team Kanjaras was 2nd with HP.

17.6.2006 Tuusula, Finnish Basenji Specialty (judges: Unto Timonen for puppies, Catherine Wright, UK for adults): Manta placed 4th with HP in bitch puppies (out of 18!!), Iida & Daisy weren't placed. Otto got VG placing 3rd in Junior Class, Argo got Good, Zorro placed 3rd in Champion Class with EXC, Pele got EXC and Rico VG. Demi got VG placing 1st in Junior Class, Mocca got VG, so did Tiitta and Ada. Lulu and Ceci also got VG. Team Kanjaras was 4th with HP.

23.7 2006 Mäntsälä (judge Tuula Savolainen): Otto got Very Good in Junior Class, but it was definitely Tiitta's turn to sing "this is my beautiful Sunday" as she finished her FIN CH -title 'rather nicely' by being BB1 out of 8 bitches and ended up BOS. Well done baby! This confirms her Latvian Champion -title as well!! Now the whole Kanjaras gang at home consists of champions :)

5.8.2006 Vilna, Lithuania (judge Raisa Savander, Finland): Tiitta won Open Class and got CC & resCACIB. Zorro put the finishing touch to his INT CH -title with style: CC, Lithuanian Champion, BOB and GROUP-3! Great jog Ari & Zorro!! Rico's son Asafa Apple Valley BOB-puppy at Kuopio INT dog show today :) and dear Gilla gave birth to 6 puppies - 1 red/white boy, 3 brindle boys + 1 red/white girl & 1 brindle girl :)

12.8.2006 Raisio (judge Janusz Opara, Poland): Daisy started her show career nicely: BOB-puppy! Tiitta BB4 and dear Pele BOB and Group-3 :D

19.8.2006 Tallinn, Estonia (judge Kari Järvinen, Finland): Zorro had a bad day: Disq.

20.8.2006 Heinola (judge Rajko Rotner, Slovenia): Rico's son Asafa Alto Palena BOB-puppy. Ida 3rd in Bitch Puppies with HP. Pele BD2, Tiitta BB3.

3.9.2006 Helsinki (judge Philip John, India): Ida 4th in Bitch Pups with HP, Rico BD4, Pele & Zorro EXC, Lulu & Tiitta EXC, Team Kanjaras 2nd with HP.

10.9.2006 Porvoo (judge Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen): Ida 4th in Bitch Pups, Pele 3rd in Champion Class, Mocca EXC (well handled, Suvi! :-)

17.9.2006 Hyvinkää group show (judge Roberto Schill, Romania): Dina Very Good, Daisy 2nd, Ida 3rd in Bitch Puppies.
